Amy Mielke

Mental Health Intern

Title:

Intern

Sometimes people think that if they are seeing a therapist there is something wrong with them. I want to help reduce the stigma that goes along with mental health therapy.

I share with my clients that are hesitant about therapy that mental health is just as important as physical health and it can be taken care of with help.

I strive to create a safe and welcoming place for people to come and sort out their life experiences. Sometimes people just need an unbiased listener to help them see life through a different window.

Amy received her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from SDSU in 2005. I enjoy sitting in the shade and watching the water with the company of a good friend. I like to turn old or used stuff into something new and fun. Upcycling is a fun hobby of mine!
