My passion for this field lies in showing people their potential through therapeutic techniques that consider all aspects of the patient and working to clarify goals so that people can become who they wish to be. I am a Certified Social Worker in the State of South Dakota, licensed to provide therapy and referral options to assist my clientele. Driven to pursue higher education and gain skills to provide therapy to populations in my local communities, I earned a B.S. in Psychology and Sociology from Black Hills State University and completed a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Walden University. I have worked in therapeutic counseling services and referrals for six years and have experience working with symptom management of depression, anxiety, substance use, grief and loss, anger management, and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques.
