Past experiences impact the lens in which we see the world and can often result in feelings of anxiety, depression, difficulty in relationships, and a myriad of other symptoms that can be difficult to manage.  These difficulties can range from low level impact of functioning to severe, and sometimes lead to difficulties with safety.

I utilize a cognitive behavioral approach which focuses on thinking, feeling, and acting to change behavior.  My approach is tailored to client needs, visiting past experiences to identify impacts on current functioning, exploring current situations for a solution focused approach, and focus on working towards building a feeling of purpose and acceptance of self.

I am passionate about working alongside my clients to explore how their past experiences can honor who they are becoming, facilitate healing when needed, and work to identify real time solutions.

More than just my work:

I love pickles and coffee.  I love to be comfortable, and can most often be found sporting leggings and bare feet.  I have earned the title of Yoga Pants therapist as I can often be found interacting bellied up to the coffee table with markers to share a technique! I love being comfortable and moving around the office to engage in different ways.
